About Amaan Academy
Founded with a mission to make authentic Quranic education accessible to Muslims worldwide through one-on-one online learning.
Our Story & Mission
Amaan Academy was founded by Abdul Rahman, a Hafiz ul Quran and certified Aalim who recognized a growing need: millions of Muslim families around the world — particularly in Western countries — were struggling to find qualified Quran teachers for their children. Weekend Islamic schools were overcrowded. Local mosques lacked teachers who spoke English fluently. And many families lived in areas with no access to Islamic education at all.
With a vision to use technology to bridge this gap, Abdul Rahman began offering one-on-one online Quran classes. Starting with just a handful of students, word spread quickly among Muslim communities. Parents were amazed at how much their children learned in individual online sessions compared to crowded weekend schools.
Our mission is simple: to make authentic, high-quality Quranic education accessible to every Muslim family in the world, regardless of where they live. We believe that learning the Quran should be a personal, meaningful journey — not a rushed, one-size-fits-all experience. That is why every class at Amaan Academy is one-on-one, personalized, and taught by a qualified teacher.

Abdul Rahman — Lead Teacher & Founder
Abdul Rahman is a Hafiz ul Quran (one who has memorized the entire Quran) and a certified Aalim (Islamic scholar). He holds an MA in Islamic Studies from Dawat-e-Islami, where he achieved a remarkable score of 500 out of 487 marks, and an Aalimiya degree from the prestigious Kanz-ul-Madaris with a score of 800 out of 773.
In addition to his academic credentials, Abdul Rahman has extensive practical experience serving the Muslim community. He has served as an Imam for 7 years and as a Khateeb (Friday sermon speaker) for 6 years. These roles gave him deep insight into the challenges Muslim families face in maintaining their connection with the Quran.
With over 13 years of teaching experience, Abdul Rahman has developed a patient, encouraging teaching style that works for students of all ages — from 4-year-old beginners to adults who never had the chance to learn Quran properly.
